I didn't see the black Allen socket cap screw, but you must be refering to some other place. Or maybe that's what you have in the M6x1 holes in the top of the tin. Button heads would be nice there. Just a quibble: anodizing only works on aluminum. Your Allen heads are probably black oxide coated steel. They are excellent quality bolts, but they will rust once the oil coating wicks off them. ALL type 3s originally came with the "handle" there, even after the rear engine mount was discontinued with the IRS. The handle (or actually the bolt) is still important to keep the fan housing in place. > I can get a bolt for that hole, no problem. Thanks for pointing that > out. Hmmm, should I go chrome or black...? Why? Got something against Orange? ;-) -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
