When I need to fill the carbs I will simply press the button for the necessary amount of time (to be determined once it's all installed and tested). Sounds like a good use for those otherwise-POS square Facet pumps. If it's only being used to prime the carbs, things like fuel pressure, fuel volume and that godawful noise really don't matter. And working used ones can usually be found cheap at the swaps from people who wised up and installed a *good* pump. :-) Wire it fusebox -> momentary switch -> pump and plumb it between your mondo filter and the engine. And if your mechanical pump dies, you can hotwire it "on" to limp home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
