I've got a 68 fastback and about a month ago i posted about fuel leaking into my crankcase and was lucky enough to get some insight into possible problems. There are two of us working on this car but we're both pretty knew to VWs so our knowledge is somewhat limited. The numbers match up to be the original fuel injected engine for the car. We've checked the injectors for leaks, made sure the all the plugs were firing correctly and replaced the voltage regulator with a new bosch VR. The new one holds a voltage around 14volts. the one thing someone had suggested was checking the Pressure sensor to see if the epoxy seal was broken. Turns out the seal is gone which is somewhat suspicious. I have an extra pressure sensor from a 71 fasty that is fine. Will this work in my 68?
