I've got a 1964 copy of the VW jobs and costings booklet - same size as the service booklet and supplied new with our 1500S Variant. It makes fun reading. Also, the early Beetle service booklets had the price - lubrication (change oil, oil locks and grease the 13 grease-points) was 10 shillings and sixpence (about $1.20 at the time, or same as 3 gallons of highly-taxed fuel) plus the cost of the oil.
