I don't understand all of the complaints about VW Trends. Iv'e been reading it for years and I think Ryan Price has improved the magazine. Sure it isn't as big and colorful as the euro mags but it's an american magazine that has to compete in an american market. Is it a lack of type 3 articles that upsets people? The type 3 isn't the most numerous VW and it will always lack coverage but I don't think it's ignored. While cleaning up today I came across the 10/02 issue and it contains a feature article about a notchback, a tech article about sounproofing a squareback, an intro to a squareback project and a tech article on a type4 engine that's going into a squareback. I love my type 3 but I also like reading about other VW's and seeing tech articles that use parts that are readily available in the US.
