You should get in touch with Ray Greenwood in Dallas, Tx. One of the few 
folks that daily drives type 4. Really know his stuff, on them, very 
knowageable on FI too. Find him on the shoptalkforums.com on the 411/412 
forums, also FI, type3 and Type 4 forums on STF. I think he may be on 
the Samba some but I am not sure. I am sure he knows of  some staches of 
parts somewhere.
