[T3] 70 sqr question

<x-flowed>Could somebody tell what the bracket in the l/h front wheel well is for?, I 
see that at one time it hooked up to an 1/8 " metal line that runs down the 
left side of the car and back to the engine compartment and the line runs 
forward to the trunk area as well.
This is my first type 3, I have alot of experience with buses & bugs
