Another "not in the manual" question. I have a '69 SB which doesn't have a "fresh air box", at least not one that looks anything like the one shown in Bentley. It looks like I have two funnel-like things just under the vents in the cowl, with tubes connecting these to the defroster vents. There are a couple of knobs on the dash (passenger side of the ashtray) which are connected to control cables which I can't see the other end of. I don't have an owner's manual, either, so I don't know what these knobs are supposed to do. I get a huge amount of water leaking from these funnel things, which appear to fill with water. There are bodged up drain hoses silicone'd into place which lead to the firewall, but I guess they're plugged up. Is there supposed to be a fresh air box on this car? What do those two knobs do (or are supposed to do)? Anyone have a pointer to a diagram or photo showing how everything up there is attached? I can't quite seem to crane my neck around properly, and can't find any fasteners with my fingers. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Take Yahoo! Mail with you!
