Oil is the best, since it doesn't show, and the oil will creep into any crevices and prevent future rusting. Then you need to find where the water is getting in. Hint: take the vinyl panel off under the right rear armrest. You should check under the left one, too. (Note, the armrest itself is held on by 2 hex nuts.) -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
