Something to think about with these numbers given, and Jim Adney already
pointed it out once, is that these numbers are in distributor degrees, not crank
degrees. That means you have to double the numbers to get what you want. This
means the Vac Advance gives 16 to 24 degrees, and the Centrifugal give 14 to
24, at both extremes, that's 48 degrees total. That's well over your 40 degrees
you want. : o Jim A. and I discussed this early last year, when I was looking
for a good replacement for my 009. Everyone suggested an FI dizzy or a vac
only t-3 dizzy. I'm running something similar to above, but with smaller total
number of degrees (a total of 36 degrees). Just some food for thought.
