Originally there was a small molded plastic sleeve over each tab, but I'd guess that 1 or 2 of your sleeves have gotten lost, or just crumbled from age. I make a sort of replacement that's pretty cheap if you're interested. You have to take the window all the way out to install them, however. There are a couple of people on this list who are now using these replacements, so they should be able to speak up and let us know how they are holding up. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
