What kind of gas mileage are you getting? One common problem with this FI system is that it runs rich if the charging system voltage is low. This tends to happen as the voltage regulator ages. You can check this by measuring the battery voltage with the engine warm after a drive and at medium rpm. It should be above 14 V; if it is below 13.5 V, replace the VR with a Bosch 30-019. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
