Unless you're talking about supplemental heaters, water cooled cars all use the cooling system to heat up the vehicle interior. Coolant runs through a smaller version of a radiator called a heater core that is used as a heat exchanger. It would take a rather beefy electrical system to drive an electric heater as a primary heating system. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
