Anyone know the > trick (perhaps the right tool! ;) to removing this dastardly part? This sounds like the left bushing, because I don't know how you could get a screwdriver behind the right bushing. If so, that one normally slides right out. Have you removed the bolt which retains that bushing? The head of that bolt is near where the clutch cable attaches to the arm, outside the case. If you really mean the right bushing, then use a slide hammer and a hook, or slit the bushing with a hacksaw blade, or run a tap in it as was also suggested. If you can tap it, then you can then screw in a bolt which will give you a head to pry under. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
