Funny thing about the twin carbs - 32PDSIT-2 is left-hand and 32PDSIT-3 is right-hand. VW part numbers are odd for left-side and even for right-side when it matters. The bi-metal strips in the housings rotate opposite ways - with a carb available it isn't hard to see which way it neds to move - the hooked end shows which way it's going to move. Without a carb, it's likely to be guesswork which side it is meant to be! Dave.
