I don't have my parts book in front of me, but I do know that the  
pads I use in the front carry a Type 3 parts number. I believe the  
"original" Type 4 pads were a little thicker, but the Type 3 pads fit  
and work well. However, I cannot seem to get rid of very annoying  
brake squeal when driving in reverse ;)
