I have seen them in most cars through all the years. Look on the upper
corners of the verticle surfaces, and on the corners of the rocker panel
carpet. The factory used them to hold the carpet while the glue dried. I
pulled some out of the Ghia the other day. Wire cutters seem to work the
best for pulling them and saving them.
