> << The British drink warm beer because they have Lucas refrigerators. Never heard that one before! I've always wondered what temp you USA guys drink red wine - it really does taste better at the right temperature, and I believe the same is true of beer. I'm a lager drinker mostly - eg Bud - so like that cold, and have never seen a Lucas fridge, but my dad had some pretty impressive Lucas headlights on his pre-war RR. They had dipping coils that angled the reflectors down - no twin filament bulbs in those days. What a simple solution - I wonder who came up with that one? Why do you think I have only driven VWs? We had an '89 Jetta with a starting problem. Very puzzling until I peeled back the distributor cap rubber seal. Take a look at a Lucas cap! I didn't fit it! http://www.hallvw.clara.net/jettaign.htm Dave.
