Absolutely, I noticed the difference when I swapped my Notch carbs over from 
the Webers to the Solexes. The stock air cleaner is much quieter, and allows 
cool fresh air into the engine. The plus with going to the stock oil bath air 
cleaner is you get to use the rest of that 3rd quart of oil from the oil 
change. : )
