You'd have to be pretty accurate on temp, as the expanded polystyrene might melt at a similar temp. I suspect after looking at the rust on the floor below them, it would be better not to allow them to stick on - they won't do it evenly anyway. I think they will self heal to an extent, so may stick here and there - might be better to use something else under them. Dave.
