I used some closed cell foam that I got from McMaster-Carr co. It's about 1"
thick, doesn't absorb water, and IS used for sound deadening/sound control
applications. It costs about 50 buck to do the floors of a T-3, and comes in
black. It's also nice and soft on the feet (very cushy). : ) It can be glued in
place using contact glue, but I left mine loose, so I can remove it and vacuum
the dirt the settles along the sides on the floor, that and I'm still working
on the car.
