It only required cutting and welding the left top tin to add some space. I don't know how this relates to T3's, but I ran a 1776 with dual Kadrons in my Bug for years with only the stock doghouse cooler and never saw temps above 200ish, even when driving balls-out on the freeway .. in the California central valley .. in the summer (105F to 115F) .. all day long. That said, I've always had a stock 1600 in my Fastback .. it had no overheating problems going to Parma back in '02, and we drove through the Nevada & Eastern Oregon desert in August on that trip. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
