Re: [T3] weekend plans

<x-flowed>TimmyK=> replacing my front beam ... what'll I need to look out for?

If you're doing truly complete replacement, it's all fairly straightforward. Take off the brake lines, separate the steering shaft from the steering box, undo the body mounts and beam clamps, and it drops out. Be sure to get the body high enough (and solidly supported) to give you comfy space to roll the whole assembly out and in, including the shock towers, it's heavy. If you're in a dry climate, check the body-mount rubbers for cracking, this is the time to replace 'em if necessary.

=> Special precautions for getting torsion arms in place?

If the replacement beam is all good, why mess with them? Just leave everything together if you can.
