I just use a dab of sealant in each corner and one more in the middle of each long side, just to hold the gasket in place. It's not a sealing issue. Do you actually have bolt-on covers that seal? My impression was that because of the differential expansion they didn't seal as well as the stock covers. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
