Re: [T3] is it possible to make my notch a sleeper?
<x-flowed>To get enough power out of the engine to have it truly go fast you would
need to rebuild it with hi-perf parts so it could take the forced
induction abuse. But for that matter, I find my normally aspirated
2007cc engine puts out plenty of power for me to easily keep up in
traffic and zip around town.
For a turbo application you'd likely want a turbo from a similar sized
engine. But that's the tip of the iceberg...from there you need to
figure out where you want your power to come in and how the engine is
gonna be used (track or daily driver) and plumb not only the exhaust but
also the oil. There are many options for turbos (learn to read a turbo
map) so, in all, you've got a LOT of researching to do. I think your
best bet -- if you're serious -- is the Shop Talk Forums at

Good luck...it's expensive :-)

I have always liked the idea of having a car that is a sleeper, stock
looking but lots of power that is hiding under the hood. Would it be
possible to take a couple, or a single, porsche turbo chargers and put
in on my car? What would the complications be if i were to do that?
