Well, maybe I put more miles on the thing than the average T3 driver, I don't know. As I said, it seems to be running well now, although the mechanix said it was pretty banged up. By the way, I got a lot of help from phils cars in NJ They're at philscars.com - I don't usually plug places, but if you're ever in a pinch in NJ, this guy was good. Very familiar AND D-Jet friendly! Rare in a mechanic. > We heard from you occasionally, but it was disheartening that the news always > seemed bad. Well, that's my poor form. When the news was good, I was usually running around like an idiot - scraping up work, juggling trying to get by, the girl, and the art was pretty time consuming. I always felt bad about not being able to contribute as much help as I got, but the list moved faster and furiouser than I could keep up with. All that means is, when you didn't hear from me, the car was usually fine enough for me not to have worry about it. Which, ever since I got that engine - was a long time, relative to the relentless problems I had before it. >I had hoped things would turn out better for you. Hey who knows, maybe now I'll have more time to participate, what without the car and all to take up my time;) -M ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
