Nice car! Love those wheels. But you have NO suspension in the front, might as well bolt it right to the body. You will end up bending one of the lower torsion arms this way if you hit any kind of rough roads, you also shock load all the bearings and bushings in the front end and these are no longer available. Front end parts are getting too scarce to risk on radical lowering unless your building a trailer queen or show car that doesnt get driven over rough roads. Keith type of shocks > > are you using? > > It's riding on snubbers in the front: > > http://herbie.ddv.com/~fess/type3/issues/ride_height/ > > Shocks Looks like KYB grey in the back, and black empi in the front. > Tires are 135R15 in the front and 165R15 in the back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
