[T3] Engine number

<x-flowed>I once needed a part for my type3 engine, and was not able to find the engine number. In the process of beginning my rebuild, I have found my number. I was hoping someone could tell me more about my engine, with the number

My engine number is T0217069.

I also am confused about the source for the concern regarding the ability for the type 3 engine to be cooled well in my dune buggy (manx style). There is NO engine compartment to contain the heat, and restrict air flow. The only type of body panels anywhere near the engine is a fiberglass rear deck that sits about a foot above the engine. The engine is free of obstruction on both sides, behind, and in front (on the sides). The back seat is a shelf that is above the transaxle. The exhaust is dual megaphone headers, with no heat exchangers. I do not want to dispute of ignore the experience of this group, but the specifics of my application may not have been understood. The engine has been in the car for a long time, and in the 3 years that I have owned it, has shown no cooling issues. Also, it is a dune buggy, but it will likely never see much of any off road use. It certainly will not see any sand dunes, as those are just not too common here in Ohio. For me, it is a poor man's convertable that allows me to relive my childhood, as my father had such a buggy.

Thanks,
Brad Mularcik
