Hi guys...back again... My muffler has quite a large hole in it, killer backfire when slowing down. I got a NOS muffler a few months ago-now time to put it on. When I got this squareback two years ago, I remember I needed the copper gaskets that are just like rings, like the ones on the oil drain plate, but much bigger. I remember discussing this with the list, but I forgot where I got the gaskets. I imagine I will need to get new gaskets for this when I replace the muffler. I searched the archive, but was unable to find the discussion we had on this. I believe it was spring/beginning of summer 2003. Also I just have the muffler, and not the damper pipe or tail pipe and assorted hardware. Any suggestions on making sure I get the right stuff.
