Yeah, I've never worked with the early heads. I actually have a set of these NOS head seals in a plastic bag with the VW part # on them, though. They came in a genuine VW gasket set I bought in about 1970 and never knew what those parts were. Anyone need any? Did the adapter require the 3 special spacer washers between the case and the adapter (like the early one-piece cooler) or was the adapter bolted right down to the case (like the late one-piece cooler?) -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
