RE: [T3] trip report...not quite to hershey :(

Well...after having my squareback sit in my driveway for a few weeks after
my not quite successful trip to hershey, I realized I wasn't getting
anywhere with it-so I brought it down to my local shop-to a guy that's been
working on VW's for over 25 years...his solution-intake manifold gaskets
were leaking. He replaced the studs that hold it down, and the gaskets.

Now it seems to idle properly. I'm going away this weekend in my bus...so no
time to give it a good test until next week.

I'm not sure why-if those were leaking, that the engine didn't react when I
sprayed that area?
