As it's time to replace the ATF , I was thinking of using a synthetic fluid. Is it worth the extra expense? As ATF change intervals are quite long I thought it may be worth while. Are there any compatibility issues between synthetic and mineral based ATF? ie is it necessary to completely drain the trans and torque converter?
