Change the oil. Air up the tires. Remove the battery ground strap and maybe 
even remove the battery if you think you are more likely to recharge it 
occasionally if it is stored somewhere else. Drain fluid from the washer 
bottle.

Park it with the parking brake OFF. Block the wheels if it's on a slope.

I have mixed feelings about trying to start it occasionally. That certainly 
throws oil around everywhere, which is good, but it also introduces water into 
everything, since water is a normal combustion byproduct.
