Toby and Jim are right... the theme of the invasion is to gather as many Type 3's and enthusiasts as possible... no matter how thier cars look. I didnt even wash eather of my cars for the event. There are a great number of things to see and talk about even with an old rat... or experiences with the car... that is the fun! If its all done and restored, great, show it off... but even little Piglet will be shiney again one day and we can all be impressed at the work accomplished in restoring it. The meanest, coldest winter we ever had here in the Northeast I had Piglet just before Shawn got him. I had more fun with it, and stories to tell, and people asking about it just in the condition it is. Heck, my boss at the shop drove it on service calls all day because it was the only vehicle that would start that bitter cold morning... and he came back to the shop blow away by all the attention he got driving it :) So lets have fun... and drive, tow, push any type 3 we can to Oregon in 06 and rock on!!
