If that doesn't make the starter run then the switch is inadequate, their is something wrong with the wiring, or there is a problem with the starter. > The wires from #11 fuez run to the ign. sw., the coil, & the brk. lite sw. The coil is on the unfused side. You may have a loose connection somewhere, such that when you draw some extra current the voltage drop is too much to allow things to continue to work. Check all the wire connections at the fuse box and the voltage regulator. Don't waste your time polishing connectors. The only parts of the connectors that matter are the parts that you can't see when they are connected; if they are tight, they will still be good regardless of their appearance. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
