Yes, the only possible problem would be that in the last month of the '71 model year the brake calipers were changed to a somewhat larger size. If your donor car is from that month, you will also have to use the calipers that are from it. They will most likely be frozen and will need to be rebuilt first. Also, if your 71 is a fastback, the anti-sway bar that is built into the front axle beam would be slightly smaller than the squareback bar. This part could be swapped from the '68 into the '71 beam. But, as Russ said, what your problem? There may be simpler/easier solutions. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
