[T3] fender welting

Have you guys seen this on thesamba:

I emailed the guy, and he says he can make them any length. I'm not sure but
it looks like it could be used on our T3's. If I can give him a length he
can quote me a price. Anyone know if this would work well, and what length I
would need for a '71 squareback. Then I'll let you guys know the quote...
