It sent short bursts of water like a machinegun (think of the usual variety as a lazer beam). I used it to clean my girlfriends t1 engine and it really was super efficient. It pounded of the baked on carbon and stuff with little need for degreaser. This was at the local firebrigade-station. - About spraying grease, covering the surrounding areas with ripped plasticbags usually works for me. I have also heard of using wd40 or similar, but do«nt like the idea of adding grease in there as I think it will just bond new dirt to the cleaned surface when you drive. In my opinion there is no comparison to taking the engine out. Then you can change leaky things like pushrod seals as well, and with few things leaking oil, you do«nt not have to clean that often..
