Try removing the carb and pouring out the gas, then turn it upside down and blow in the fuel inlet. It should be blocked, due to the weight of the float. It should be open when the carb is upright. If you hear something rattling around inside, then something may have come loose and needs to be put back in place. A bit of dirt in the line, may have worked its way into the float valve and blocked it open. With a little effort you should be able to clear it out. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
