Yep, done comp test. #3 120psi and #4 115psi. I guess that eliminates valve problems unless it only occurs when hot, as I did the test cold. Might have to try it again hot. Spark plugs very black and fluffy considering they've done less than 10miles since new. This would support the running rich idea, right? OK, so what do I check in the carbs? How do I adjust the mixture? I didn't adjust anything in the carbs, left all linkages the same length as they were, just installed a rebuild kit. I even reused the old needle valves as the new ones wouldn't let any fuel into the bowl. How do you that check the fuel level in the bowl is correct?
