<x-flowed>Ill be willing to bet that its the spot between the accelerator pump rod an 
the top arm of your accelorator linkage. It tends to get sloppy over time 
and this is why later carbs have the adjustment for the pump. When I drove 
the notch it seemed fine to me. I dont think the hesitation in your car is 
nothing more than getting used to that slop.
