Kroil oil?? Do you mean anti-seize compund??
My experience has been, that if you get them tightened properly in the
first place. you should never have to worry about taking them back
apart. Until the muffler burns out of course.
I then remove the old muffler with an air chisel or torch. I then use an
impact and socket to get the nuts out.
The way i use this wrend it to hit it with a hammer to tighten the nut.
