My experience has been, that if you get them tightened properly in the first place. you should never have to worry about taking them back apart. Until the muffler burns out of course. I then remove the old muffler with an air chisel or torch. I then use an impact and socket to get the nuts out. The way i use this wrend it to hit it with a hammer to tighten the nut. -- Russ Wolfe '71 FB AT '66 FB MT '64 T34 (not running) '65 T1 (not running) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
