Would it be OK to simply remove the choke butterfly? I'd just like to second Steve Ayres comments on this. The chokes seem to work just fine when you get them all set up properly and there is really no reason to disable them. If for some reason you want to disable them, the best way by far is to just turn and lock down the heater bodies so that the butterfly is just open all the time. That way is easy and reversible. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
