Greetings Type III family. I bought my 69 Square from a guy in Seattle who has been a VW/Porsche mechanic for a long time. Spoke to him today about other cars and/or parts he might have, and his reply was that he's been collecting and throwing away parts for 30 years. He might have to vacate the space he's been in for all the years...and does not want to move 5 tons of metal! Anyhow..just passing along his contact information in case anyone in the pacific northwest needs a parts resource. I told him not to throw away anything. He's going to try and enlist his son to help him get stuff into a list so we know what he has for sale. I also told him about this site - so hopefull he will use it. He'd probably love to hear from some folks - and he's a really nice guy.
