ok, i decided not to thrash the pivot arms rivet. (as i want my car to be a driver next week and dont want any more delays). Scott is right about the after market rubber at the pivot arm the rubber is cut. Why i dont know, because at the bottom peg it is not and you have to remove the vent wing, making the cut rubber at the pivot arm useless. I chose to simply cut the rubber and jimmy the seal onto the frame and around the peg. Sounds simple but my fingers hurt from the presure needed to install this way.
