In the half-light through (around!) roadwork drums and chicanes with Jim telling me "not to worry about the police and keep sight of John", on the wrong (right?) side of the road at an indicated 85mph - you call that "no trouble", Russ?. Ah, adrenalin is a wonderful thing for performance enhancement. ;-) Very memorable! It reminds me of the day we set off for a club Wolfsburg trip - 3 VWs in convoy, the spare time allowed for the ferry already used up, the passenger we picked up en route said we didn't want the motorway exit I thought we would use, so we went about 50 miles out of our way, then tore through Suffolk villages and lanes at 70 - 80mph on a Sunday morning. We did have a Police Sergeant in the convoy, so maybe we would have been spared! And we made the ferry with about 20 minutes spare. Dave.
