I have a 1967 Squareback and I just purchased a pair of original 67

horshoe. Does anyone have a set of these that I could purchase.
Thanks.
The circlips that everyone has been describing might work, but you
might be better off trying to find the original wire spring clips that
VW used on the early Type 3s. You said in another email that you're in
Southern California, so you should check with local VW shops that
specialize in Type 3s like Bill and Steve's, ISP West, etc. Or visit
the VW Classic in Irvine, coming up on Sunday, June 13, where you'll
probably be able to get them from one of the swap meet vendors. You can
still find the occasional Type 3 in a local self-serve wrecking yard in
SoCal, too -- that's where I've had the most luck finding small parts
like these clips.
good luck,
