	I'm not exactly sure what the point is, either.  The event usually
draws about half of  a show's attendees, give or take.  The other half of
the folks keep checking out the show cars & swaps, and wonder amongst
themselves what the point is.

	I think it's loud and spectacular.  I don't know if the point is
to have lots of drama (smoke/flames/noise), or if it's to see how long
such a "rad" engine can last under tough condition.

	Yes -- the little video was like the last bit of it.  It went
for... five? minutes or so.  You have to wonder if it couldn't have been
rebuilt, or if many of its parts could have been re-used.

	I believe so, but I'm not sure.  I *thought* they ran them without
a fan & shroud.  This was the only one I've ever watched up close, and it
did have a cooling system.
