This problem has been evident ever since the steering box was new. At the time I took the car back to the mechanic who had installed the box and told them what was happening. He had a look, tightened up all the bolts again and declared they were all as tight as possible. No change. I have marked all the splines and couplings with white paint and none of them appear to slip. Is there anything in the box which could allow this to happen?
