Yes, these exist, and I have one, too, but my impression is that they were an aftermarket setup, part of a Brazilian dual carb conversion kit for type 3s. It has one of those part numbers with too many digits to be an actual German type 3 number. There's no paper element air cleaner in that I can tell in the microfilm.
